Pastor Kelly McInerney
Pastor McInerney was born in Saginaw, Michigan. After his parents divorced, his mother remarried, and the family moved to Oklahoma, where he spent most of his childhood. He was saved at a Baptist Church near Ada, at the age of seven. At a young age, Pastor McInerney felt the call of God for ministry.
After returning to Michigan in 1987 to attend Saginaw State University, he met Pastor Charles Smith, who offered to train him for ministry in Mt. Orab, Ohio. He began working part-time at the church in 1989, and met his future wife there. He and Theresa were married in 1990, and moved on to a church in Hillsboro, Ohio where he was ordained in 1993.
In January, 1995, the first Bible study was held, which grew into the Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington, Ohio. The church just completed their 20th anniversary year, and has started five new churches in southwest Ohio since the year 2000. Pastor and Theresa have three children - Kenton, Kaden, and Kerrigan. In addition to his ministry with the church, Pastor McInerney has served the Ohio Baptist Bible Fellowship as secretary, and chairman, and currently serves as chaplain for the Southwest District of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Clinton County Sheriff's Office.
Pastor McInerney became Senior Pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Savannah, GA in 2017. He is excited to see what God has in store for the ministry of Bible Baptist Church!
